Time-Warner to fund a Nevada brothel?

Heidi Fleiss
Madam Heidi Fleiss
Time-Warner is the largest media company in the world. They are a giant conglomerate which owns CNN, Time Magazine, Warner-Brothers movie studio, America-On-Line, HBO, and other companies. I'd bet Richard Parsons, the CEO of Time-Warner, doesn't even know that they are funding the startup of another small company.

Yup. They soon might be able to add "brothel" to their investment portfolio. How?

Time-Warner owns HBO. HBO has signed a deal with busted Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss. They get to film her getting her new brothel, Heidi's Stud Farm, off the ground in Nevada. It is interesting how this six-figure advance seems to be Heidi's seed money.
" And she just landed a six-figure deal with HBO to let a film crew document the brothel's birth. "

It is also interesting how Newsweek, Time Magazine's arch-rival, ran this story. I wonder if Time would dare connect the dots?

For the record, I have nothing against what Ms. Fleiss wants to do. Nor do I have any problem with Time Warner investing in it. It is legal in Nevada. They aren't breaking any laws.

But... I suspect that some moralist, relgious right, nuts will have a serious problem with it. Perhaps they might even boycott HBO and Bugs Bunny.
